Albert Pujols

The 2022 T-Mobile Home Run Derby was a bittersweet occasion for Albert Pujols and his fans; on one hand, Pujols advanced to the semifinals of the contest, but on the other, this is the last time he'll be competing in this exuberant event. Despite being 42 years old, Pujols more than kept up with the young guns, collecting an impressive 35 home runs between his two rounds. Although he surely would have wished to win the contest, Pujols was proud of his showing, and for very good reason.
