Giancarlo Stanton had an incredible performance in last night's 2022 MLB All-Star Game, culminating in the New York Yankees outfielder being crowned the contest's MVP. Stanton, after spending time mic'd up in the outfield, approached the plate and sent a pitch from Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin soaring over the left-center-field wall to tie the contest in the fourth inning. Interestingly, Stanton's coronation was only the third time a Yankees player had been named MLB All-Star Game MVP, after Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera in 2000 and 2013, respectively.
