The 83-year-old Jim Kaat was finally inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday, almost 40 years since his last Major League Baseball performance. Kaat's career, which includes 283 wins, was long and storied; his endurance was impressive, having recorded a jaw dropping 14 seasons where he pitched 200 or more innings, including two seasons where he passed the 300-inning mark.
