JJ Bleday

After collecting the first hit of his Major League Baseball career just three days prior, call-up Marlins outfielder JJ Bleday hit his first-career home run in yesterday evening's meeting between his Club and the Cincinnati Reds. Bleday's milestone longball was belted in the fourth inning of the contest off Reds pitcher Luis Castillo. Unfortunately for the Marlins and their fans, Bleday's homer wasn't enough to catalyze a comeback, as the Club took home a 5-3 loss on the evening.
