Miami Marlins call-up outfielder JJ Bleday made his Major League Baseball debut on Saturday, and just one day later, collected the first and second hit of his MLB career. In the second inning of yesterday’s contest between his Marlins and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Bleday hit a ground ball to shortstop, but thanks to his incredible sprint speed, beat out the throw. Bleday’s second, a ninth-inning two-out double, was the icing on the cake, helping his Club edge out the Pirates 6-5 in extra-innings.
