Reid Detmers

Angels left-handed rookie starting pitcher Reid Detmers made some history with his jaw dropping performance in his Club's contest against the Texas Rangers yesterday afternoon. Detmers' seven-inning, 12-strikeout performance was undoubtedly highlighted by his immaculate second inning. Incredibly, this makes Detmers only the third player in MLB history to throw both a no-hitter and an immaculate inning in the same season, and what's more, the only rookie to have ever done so in Major League Baseball history.
