He's back! In last night's contest between the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals, Jacob deGrom made his long-awaited return to his Club's pitching rotation. Jacob threw for five innings of the contest, striking out six Washington batters and allowing just three hits. Mets fans rejoiced at their dependable and dynamic starter's return, and his performance – despite the Club's 5-1 loss on the night – had fans excited to see deGrom healthy and back where he belongs: on the mound.
