Baltimore Orioles shortstop Jorge Mateo was the power source for his team's 8-2 win over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night. The 27-year-old veteran drove in a career-high five runs as the Orioles eclipsed their 2021 win total, improving to 53-51 on the season. Mateo came out firing with a three-run homer in the top of the third and finished with a two-run blast in the ninth, his first career multi-homer game.
