Making his Major League debut after starting his professional career a little over a decade ago, Washington Nationals first baseman Joey Meneses made the most of his opportunity on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old from Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico hammered the first pitch he saw in his seventh inning at-bat, sending it high over the outfield wall in right-center, capping off a 5-1 win over the visiting New York Mets.
