Jacob deGrom made history on Sunday when he passed Yu Darvish for the most strikeouts by a Major League Baseball pitcher through their first 200 performances, with a jaw dropping total of 1,523. In front over 37,000 fans at Citi Field, deGrom carried a perfect game into the sixth inning in just his second start of his 2022 MLB campaign. Amazingly, he struck out 12 Braves batters, and was credited for the win. Interestingly, the Mets are on fire, having won 12 of their last 14 contests.
