Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase has been indispensable to his Club's bullpen this season, and as of his save in last night's contest against the Detroit Tigers, he now has a new career-high, single-season saves total of 25. Clase, who was called in for the game's final out, did so with the utmost professionalism, and secured the 5-2 Guardians victory with ease. Not only does Clase have a new single-season high, but he's also now tied for first in the American League saves category with Toronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano.
