Drew Rasmussen

Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Drew Rasmussen carried a perfect game into the ninth inning of his Club’s meeting with the Baltimore Orioles yesterday afternoon. Interestingly, the franchise has never produced a perfect game, and Rasmussen’s performance tied the efforts of Ryne Stanek and Ryan Yarborough in 2019, who also lost their perfect-game bid in the ninth inning. Despite finishing one inning shy of the incredible feat, Rasmussen’s performance was spectacular and helped his Club take home their 4-1 victory.
