New York Mets call-up third baseman Brett Baty made his Major League Baseball debut in his Club’s meeting with the Atlanta Braves last night. In the second inning, in what was Baty’s first MLB at-bat, the 22-year-old, Round Rock, Texas native went long, sending a two-run blast over the right-field wall. This moment was far from just a personal milestone, however, as those two Baty-smithted runs allowed his Club to take home their 9-7 victory.
