Christian Bethancourt

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Christian Bethancourt put his two-way play on display in last night's meeting between his Club and the Angels. Bethancourt belted his third home run in as many games in the seventh inning when he crushed a pitch from Angels hurler Jesse Chavez, sending it straight over the center-field wall. Bethancourt, who picked up two more RBI on the night, also took to the mound for the last two outs of the contest, picking up a strikeout before securing an 11-1 victory for his Rays.
