Justin Verlander’s 2022 Major League Baseball campaign has been inspiring, as the veteran hurler has spent much of the season at the front of the pack in regard to his win count. In last night’s bout between his Astros and the Minnesota Twins, Verlander hurled for six hitless innings, whiffing a jaw-dropping 10 Twins batters, while walking zero. When the contest finished 4-2 in his Club’s favor, Verlander was awarded the win, his 16th of the season, tying him with Tony Gonsolin of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the MLB lead.
