Monday night’s 13–7 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies marked the largest comeback win seen in Arizona Diamondbacks history, and helping to mount that comeback was the team’s newest addition. Outfielder Corbin Carroll, the organization’s number one prospect and third overall in Baseball, chipped in with two RBI and two runs scored in his debut game. The 22-year-old cracked a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth – unlocking a 7–7 tie – which counting for his first big-league hit.
