New York Yankees right-handed pitcher Greg Weissert came up big in an emergency spot during Tuesday night's contest against the Angels. Starter Jameson Taillon was removed from the game after being hit with a comebacker in the second inning, so the Bay Shore, NY native was brought in to start the third inning and help maintain the Yankees 4-2 lead. The 27-year-old struck out two batters across two perfect frames, earning him his first career big-league victory.
