The Arizona Diamondbacks played host to the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday evening and it was outfielder Jake McCarthy who stole the spotlight. The 25-year-old rookie, born in Scranton, PA – a little over two hours away from Philadelphia, drove in a career-best five runs in the 12-3 win. McCarthy connected on a two-run triple in the bottom of the second and then hit a three-run blast in the fourth.
