Bobby Witt Jr.'s introductory Major League Baseball campaign has been inspiring, and after his performance in last night's meeting between his Kansas City Royals and the Chicago White Sox, he tied an incredible piece of Club history. In the fourth inning of the contest, Witt Jr. belted a solo home run off White Sox hurler Lance Lynn to notch the 19th roundtripper of his rookie year. Incredibly, this ties him with teammate Salvador Perez for the Club lead and puts Witt Jr. just one longball shy of a 20-20 season.
