The Philadelphia Phillies made history on Wednesday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks, as they were the first team since 1901 to have all nine starters record two or more hits in a single game. The Phillies destroyed the NL West Division Club, 18-2, with a good chunk coming in a seven-run eighth inning that sent 15 Philadelphia batters to the plate. Brandon Marsh led the way with three hits, including a triple and three RBI. The three-game series between the two Clubs combined for an eye-whopping 55 runs.
