Zac Gallen

Somehow, to say Arizona Diamondbacks hurler Zac Gallen is on fire would still be an understatement. Amazingly, in yesterday afternoon’s contest between his Club and the Milwaukee Brewers, Gallen made an incredible piece of Major League Baseball history, becoming just the fourth player in the modern era to throw for six or more scoreless innings in six consecutive starts. Furthermore, he extended his scoreless-innings streak to an astonishing 41 and 1/3 while striking out seven, and walking just one, en route to the Diamondbacks 5-1 victory.
