After last night's 7-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, the New York Mets have secured their spot in the 2022 Major League Baseball Postseason. The Queens-based ballclub has not clinched such a berth since 2016, and naturally, passionate celebrations ensued after last night's result. Mets mainstays Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso were elated to make it to the Postseason, but noted that this is just the beginning, as the Club and their stars hope to extend a run deep into October.
