Last night, Kyle Schwarber belted the 40th home run of his Major League Baseball campaign during his Philadelphia Phillies meeting with the Toronto Blue Jays. Interestingly, Schwarber is the first player to hit 40 longballs in a Phillies uniform since Ryan Howard did in 2009. Furthermore, this is the first season in which Schwarber has ever passed the 40-homer mark. Although Schwarber's Club walked away with an 18-11 loss, his special home run still left Phillies fans with a lot to celebrate.
