Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts made franchise history on Wednesday evening when he connected on his fourth-inning home run. Betts' 35th longball of the season makes him the first player in Los Angeles Dodgers history to record both 35 home runs and 35 doubles in the same season. You have to go all the way back to 1954 to find the last time a Dodgers player pulled off this feat – courtesy of Brooklyn's Duke Snider, who finished that season with 40 homers and 39 doubles.
