Bobby Witt Jr. set an interesting piece of Club history for his Kansas City Royals yesterday afternoon after hitting a sixth-inning, two-RBI double against the Seattle Mariners. Amazingly, this marked Witt Jr.'s 57th extra-base hit of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, breaking a franchise record for the most extra-base hits notched by a Royals rookie. What's more, Witt Jr.'s pivotal at-the-plate performance ensured victory for his Royals, 13-12.
