After notching the 200th strikeout of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign in yesterday's contest between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies, Charlie Morton recorded his fourth consecutive 200-strikeout season. Additionally, he joins teammate Spencer Strider, who was the fastest player in MLB history to reach the milestone, doing so in just 130 innings. Remarkably, this is the first time a pair of Braves pitchers have both recorded 200-strikeout seasons since 1886, making this dual feat at that much more memorable.
