Not only did the home run deliver a historic milestone, but the two-run shot also broke a 3-3 tie and put the Yankees ahead, 5-3, against the division-rival Toronto Blue Jays. The fateful blast off Tim Mayza soared over the left-center-field wall in the seventh inning of the contest and tied Judge with Roger Maris for the AL single-season, home-run record.
