George Springer

The Toronto Blue Jays took on the Boston Red Sox at home last night in one of the most competitive games of their 2022 Major League Baseball campaign so far. George Springer, however, was solely responsible for their late-game heroics, after hitting a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth. Springer's blast was not only the moment that resuscitated the Blue Jays chance at victory, but was also the 200th of the 32-year-old's career.
