Oliver Bearman

17-year-old Oliver Bearman claimed rare back-to-back wins at Baku in Round 4. The young Brit is in his first season in Formula 2™ and is already making his mark. He started the Sprint race in P9 but produced incredible speed in often chaotic circumstances. With the front-runners crashing out, Bearman calmly navigated his way to the lead to become the second youngest winner in Formula 2™. He would then repeat this feat in the Feature Race, taking the lead early and duelling with Théo Pourchaire. However Bearman regained the lead and comfortably took his second victory of the weekend – only the ninth driver in F2 to win both races. A fantastic achievement for a special talent.
