Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen finished on the podium for the 81st time at the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023 – surpassing racing legend Ayrton Senna's total. There is no doubt that Verstappen is on track to be part of the pantheon of Formula 1® that includes the likes of Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher amongst others. The 2021 & 2022 FIA Formula 1® World Drivers' Champion finished second behind teammate Sergio Perez in Sunday's race to claim his 81st podium, one more than Senna. The 25-year-old shares similarities with the Brazilian maestro – a confident, focused driver, dedicated to winning. The podium total is a reminder of how great Verstappen already is and how incredible Ayrton Senna was.
