Well, that didn’t take long. It was only fitting that last season’s MLB home run king kicked off Opening Day 2023 by smashing one in his the first at-bat of the year. Aaron Judge blasted an 0-1 offering from San Francisco Giants starter Logan Webb to deep center field, jumpstarting the offense in what would be a 5-0 triumph. This was also the 30-year-old’s first official at-bat as Yankees captain, an honor bestowed upon him this past offseason.
