The New York Mets made Major League Baseball history with yesterday's road-game performance against the Oakland Athletics. Incredibly, over the course of the game, the Mets collected a jaw-dropping 17 walks. When paired with their 17 runs scored, too, they became the first Club in the modern era to reach these marks in a road game. What's more, the 17 walks is a new single-game-high, breaking their previous mark set in the Club's inaugural, 1962 campaign.
