Miguel Cabrera made his 2023 MLB debut on Opening Day, marking the end of a legendary career that spanned 21 seasons. The Tigers legend, who spent 11 seasons in Detroit, returned to the lineup at Comerica Park to the delight of fans. Cabrera, a 12-time All-Star, 4-time batting champion and 2012 Triple Crown and World Series MVP, etched his name into the record books with 3,115 hits, 507 home runs and a .306 career batting average. He became the seventh player in MLB history to reach 3,000 hits and 500 home runs.
