On Wednesday, Verlander's New York Mets battled the Cincinnati Reds in a low-scoring 2-1 ballgame. The 40-year-old was amazing in his appearance, pitching seven innings and striking out eight batters, while allowing just two hits. More importantly, the win officially makes Verlander just the 21st pitcher to beat all 30 teams in MLB.
