The 23-year-old, going up against elite closer Kenley Jansen, worked a full count before putting a charge into a slider that flew into the Fenway Park bleachers, giving the visitors an 8-6 advantage. Gorman's blast was the first pinch-hit homer for the Cardinals this season.
