Called up just in time for Wednesday night's contest, New York Mets third baseman Mark Vientos certainly seized the opportunity to play in the Big Apple for the first time in 2023. The 23-year-old rookie connected on a crucial two-run blast in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull even with the visiting Tampa Bay Rays. This set off a back-and-forth battle that would ultimately end in dramatic fashion thanks to a Pete Alonso three-run walk-off blast in the bottom of the tenth.
