What a Postseason debut for Mark Vientos. The New York Mets third baseman came up with what proved to be the game-winning hit in his Club's 8-4 road victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of the National League Wild Card series. With the game tied 4-4 in the top of the fifth inning, Vientos smashed a go-ahead two-run single to right field to give his team a lead they would not relinquish. He is the first Mets player since 2006 to have multiple hits in his first Postseason game.
