Rookie's 1st MLB® Homer is a Three-Run Blast

Three games into his 2023 season and so far Angels catcher Logan O’Hoppe has been everything the team could hope for. The 23-year-old backstop came up big yesterday in the team’s contest against the Oakland Athletics. The rookie connected on his first MLB home run, driving in three and breaking up a scoreless game. O’Hoppe’s six RBI are the most for an Angels catcher and tied for most of any catcher through the first three games of their career.
