Juan Soto・Manny Machado

Team Dominican Republic does not lack in star power, and in their second contest of the 2023 World Baseball Classic, they shined and took home a 6-1 victory over Team Nicaragua. The stellar showing was undoubtedly highlighted by two key players' showstopping home runs: Juan Soto and Manny Machado. Soto struck first with a two-out solo shot in the sixth inning, while Machado followed it up with a solo homer of his own just one inning later.
