Oscar Piastri

Oscar Piastri produced an excellent performance in the Sprint race at the FORMULA 1 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2023. The Australian is enjoying an excellent debut season in F1® and showed why he is one to watch with a second-place finish in rainy conditions. He started the race in P2 thanks to an inspired performance in the earlier qualifying session and took the lead thanks to some rapid pace. His lead was only cut due to a safety car restart with Verstappen right behind him, Piastri was unable to hold off the Red Bull's pace. The McLaren F1 Team driver finished in second place, his first top three in Formula 1 – an excellent performance from an exciting young talent in his rookie season.
