Freddie Freeman became the first player in Atlanta Braves history to hit three home runs in a game twice in his career. The Braves slugger went 4-for-5 with three homers, a double and six RBI in the 15-3 win over the Miami Marlins on May 12 at Truist Park. Freeman's three-run homer in the first inning was his 447th career home run, moving him past Eddie Mathews (442) for sole possession of 10th place on the Braves' all-time home run list. The first baseman also became the first Brave with six RBI since Jeff Francoeur in 2007.
