Gavin Williams walked off the mound in his MLB debut to a standing ovation from those in attendance at Progressive Field. The Cleveland Guardians top prospect earned those cheers as he helped contribute to his team's 7-6 win on Wednesday. The 23-year-old went five and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits, four strikeouts. Williams impressed skipper Terry Francona with his poise as well, who praised the young starter for his focus and determination.
