Since making his Major League Baseball debut on June 14th, Luis Matos has fit right into his San Francisco Giants lineup. Yesterday afternoon, however, Matos took it to a new level and belted a historic, and impactful, home run for the very first time of his Major League Baseball career. In just his 10th big-league contest, Matos connected with a pitch from Arizona Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly to belt a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Remarkably, the longball made him the youngest Giants player to go long since Matt Williams in 1987. What's more, it paved the way for his Club to win, 7-6.
