Isaac Paredes / Alex Verdugo / Luis Urías

An electric game between Team Mexico and Team Puerto Rico saw the latter jump out to an early lead. Instead of panicking, Team Mexico turned to Isaac Paredes, who delivered a booming homer to left-center field. Alex Verdugo took another chunk out of the lead with an RBI single, but the team was still down, 4-2. Paredes once again answered with a two-run RBI to tie the game in the seventh. Finally, the stage was set for Luis Urías, who hit an RBI-single to give Team Mexico their first lead of the game, leading to a 5-4 win and a trip to the semifinals.
