The hurler tossed five scoreless innings in the Chicago White Sox game against the Minnesota Twins. More importantly, the 29-year-old passed a huge milestone as he struck out his 1,000th career batter. Giolito’s performance adds to what has already been a dominant first half of the season, as he currently ranks in the top-15 in strikeouts.
