Lucas Giolito

Another dominant performance on the mound saw Lucas Giolito join an elite class of pitchers in Major League history. The hurler tossed five scoreless innings in the Chicago White Sox game against the Minnesota Twins. More importantly, the 29-year-old passed a huge milestone as he struck out his 1,000th career batter. Giolito’s performance adds to what has already been a dominant first half of the season, as he currently ranks in the top-15 in strikeouts.
