Just days after his Major League Baseball debut, 24-year-old Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Alika Williams connected for his first big-league hit. In the fifth inning of his Club's bout with the Philadelphia Phillies, Williams smashed a line drive to center field, scoring teammate Endy Rodriguez from third base for what would be the ballclub's seventh run of the contest.
