New York Mets starter Justin Verlander continues to etch his name next to the greats in MLB history. The former American League MVP became just the 49th pitcher in League history to reach 250 wins following his victory against the Washington Nationals on Sunday. "It's a moment you kind of have to take a step back and appreciate," said the three-time Cy Young Award winner, "This is one of those for me." Verlander has quietly had himself a nice July, going 5-1 with a 1.69 ERA over six starts.
