Framber Valdez

Framber Valdez has etched his name in MLB history as the first Houston Astros left-hander to throw a no-hitter last night against the Cleveland Guardians. The no-no is the 16th in Club history and the first complete-game no-hitter since Justin Verlander on September 1st, 2019. More impressive is the efficiency with which the hurler completed his performance, needing only 93 pitches to reach the mark. That is the fewest amount thrown in a no-hitter or perfect game since 1999.
