Framber Valdez was truly dominant on Friday night. The Houston Astros starter went the distance in a series-opening road matchup against the Angels, allowing one run on four hits over 106 pitches en route to a 7-1 victory. It was the southpaw’s first complete game since he no-hit Cleveland on Aug. 1, 2023 and the seventh of his career. Valdez is now tied for the team lead with five wins.
