Cade Marlowe

If you're going to hit your first career grand slam, why not make it a game-winner? With the bases loaded in the top of the ninth inning, Seattle Mariners fresh face Cade Marlowe was up for the challenge. He belted a scorching 100-mph fastball up over the right-field wall to give his team a late lead they would not surrender. The Georgia native became the first Mariners player to hit a go-ahead grand slam in the ninth or later since 2005 and the team's first first-year player to ever do so.
